Our Ministry Leaders

The ministry leaders at New Community Church have spent many years devoted to serving the Body of Christ. We enjoy sharing the word of faith and knowledge of salvation with others we come in contact with daily. Here are a few of New Community Christian Center Church’s leaders, starting with Pastor Anthony VanDyke:

Elder Nicole is the is the proud wife and partner of 23+ years to Pastor VanDyke. She facilitates the Music and Women’s Ministry at New Community Church. Her love for God and deep desire to do His will is the driving force of her commitment in ministry.  Professionally, she holds an BS in Accounting degree from Norfolk State University andMaster’s in Accounting from Liberty University. With over 20 years of experience in Corporate Accounting, she often facilitates financial conferences and seminars held annually at New Community. She is committed to the call of this ministry, diligently serves in a myriad of areas, and continually seeks to live, as God desires us to, while seeing the lives of increase. Elder VanDyke’s life’s journey is surrounded by the verse in Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

johnBrother John Price (Board of Trustees) 

As head of the Trustee Board, John has been an intricate part of the leadership team of New Community for many years and would like to offer his testimony to you.

He says-
“I have seen my own personal growth in my spirituality, financial blessings and received much love and support as a member of this ministry.
I am honored to be part of N.C.C. as I watch the lives of people being impacted and changed for the better! “
His outside interest includes building and competing as a National Body Builder.

milesReverend Eric Miles (Assoc. Minister)

Reverend Eric Miles was born in Brooklyn and raised in Harlem, New York. After graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Navy and served 20 ½ years. He accepted Christ as his savior in 1979 and has lived his life serving in ministry in various capacities.  He attended Southeastern Freewill Baptist Bible College and was ordained a Minister in 1981.

In 2012 he joined the New Community Christian Center Family and was installed as an Elder in 2015. In addition to volunteering for various ministry essentials, he leads weekly prayer conference calls and works with membership care.
